ABF Mittskåne has previously operated an LSS daily activity program commissioned by Lunds Municipality.
Now we are finally opening an additional new daily activity program ABF - CLOSE TO NATURE with a focus on nature, animals, and creativity. We are looking for you to help us launch our program!
Our facilities are located at Klostergården.
We are looking for someone who enjoys being in nature and inspiring others to appreciate the outdoors. You should be proactive and willing to use your competence, knowledge, creativity, and drive to help create an excellent program.
What We're Looking For
You need to be well-organized but also flexible, have administrative skills, and be able to juggle multiple tasks, plan, and meet deadlines. You should have a strategy for your own work.
You have a natural drive to make things happen and enjoy being outdoors and staying active. You enjoy inspiring others.
Responsibilities
Our daily activity program serves people with various types of functional variations.
You will structure, develop, and lead activities based on your competence, combined with participants' interests. You will inspire and motivate participation. Example activities may include gardening, creating art, organizing outings, and facilitating study circles.
You will provide social guidance.
You will document in Lifecare.
You will maintain contact with participants' support networks and participate in meetings as needed.
You will work primarily independently with participants but must also be able to collaborate with colleagues. Working in a daily activity program is a very rewarding and developmental job.
Competence: Knowledge and experience with the target group.
Education: Relevant education in pedagogy or care.
We are looking for someone with lots of ideas who can implement them, but also values others' ideas. You will design and lead activities with the participants' interests and wishes as your focus. The ability to support and motivate others and build relationships in a professional context are important qualities for us. Be positive and interested. Have a genuine interest in people and see their strengths.
The situations you will encounter with us and the diversity of individuals you will meet will require you to be very flexible and confident in yourself and your work. We see that you are pedagogical in your approach, calm and composed, clear in your interactions, attentive, responsive, and good at managing primarily your own emotions but also others'. Stable. Structured. Listening. Empathetic.
