Do you want a key role in ensuring that SJ's trains are safe, reliable, and comply with all legal requirements? As a Requirements and Vehicle Safety Coordinator, you bring order to complexity and drive safety and requirements work forward. Through your work, you contribute directly to ensuring that it is always safe to travel and work in SJ's operations. Your upcoming role As a Requirements and Vehicle Safety Coordinator, you have a central role in ensuring that SJ's vehicle fleet is safe, reliable, and meets all requirements. You work in the vehicle team and are responsible for coordinating and driving work within traffic safety, requirements, and configuration management for our trains. In the role, you create structure and momentum in safety and requirements-related matters by ensuring that work complies with applicable legal requirements, internal safety management requirements, and requirements from suppliers and authorities. You lead and coordinate risk-related activities, support team members in their work, and ensure that risks are identified, analyzed, and managed in a consistent and traceable manner. With your holistic perspective, you contribute to the vehicle fleet meeting requirements for safety, availability, and regulatory compliance. Work tasks: Safety management by coordinating safety work, preparing matters for meetings, and ensuring proper documentation Requirements management, document requirements, monitor changes in regulations, and quality assure risk analyses Responsible for processes and procedures and ensuring status and documentation Lead risk analyses and support work with deviation management in configuration management Ensure that relevant parts in the maintenance plan and service log are kept up to date Support colleagues and develop working methods You will be part of the Vehicle Division, the part of SJ responsible for the entire vehicle fleet's lifecycle and which ensures that complete, clean, and safe trains are delivered on time. The Vehicle Division consists of approximately 900 employees with varied expertise, including technical specialists, vehicle engineers, and train technicians. Within the Vehicle Division, you will work in Technical Product Management, where work is carried out in vehicle teams responsible for each SJ vehicle fleet. In your role, you will collaborate with Technical Product Management's Traffic Safety Coordinator and the Division's safety coordinators. Expectations of the person we are looking for We are looking for someone with experience in technical safety and legal requirements within vehicles or the industrial field. You have clear leadership qualities and enjoy creating structure in complex contexts. You work methodically and have the ability to see both the whole and the details, which is crucial when you handle legal and safety requirements. At the same time, you are resourceful and take responsibility, take ownership of your tasks, and drive work forward in an independent manner. The role also requires that you are flexible and can prioritize based on operational needs. You have a natural ability to balance requirements, technical safety, and progress. You are used to working in teams, enjoy collaborating with others, and have good communication skills that create trust in dialogue with both colleagues and external parties. We see that you have: At least 5 years of experience in a relevant field Engineering degree Very good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written Technical experience with railway vehicles is meriting Application and information This recruitment concerns three Requirements and Vehicle Safety Coordinators who will be placed in three different vehicle teams—one for X2000, X40/X55, and RC6/Passenger cars respectively.
