Do you want to work on designing the electricity grid of the future and contribute to the energy transition? We are now looking for experienced power transmission line design engineers who want to be part of our team. At Norconsult, we are developing tomorrow's electricity grid. We operate in a sought-after and expanding industry and now we want to grow our team! With us, you will become part of Norconsult's power transmission line operations, where we work on design primarily within regional and national grid networks. The role can be based in Gothenburg, Trollhättan, Stockholm, or another location where we have operations. Our power transmission line departments consist of over 30 employees and we work closely together across office boundaries. In your role as a power transmission line design engineer, you will primarily work on overhead line design within regional and national grid networks. You will participate in projects through various phases and work on technical solutions, dimensioning, and modeling. The work takes place in close collaboration with colleagues in different technical areas. Our assignments come from some of Sweden's largest players in the energy industry, and we are currently seeing strong demand for our services, which means we have significant recruitment needs. Your Profile You have relevant technical education, such as a civil or technical engineer degree, or alternatively a vocational higher education degree, and at least 3 years of experience in overhead line design, preferably for voltage levels of 130 kV and above. You are well versed in the various work tasks and deliverables included in overhead line design and work independently in design tools such as PLS-CADD and/or ICEtow. Since we design model-based and have already delivered several projects without drawings in full-scale BIM, we would appreciate it if you have previous experience with or an interest in model-based deliverables. We consider it a merit if you have experience with FME and AMA, if you are trained/certified in ESA and BAS-P/U, and have established contacts in the industry. You are a structured, attentive, and business-minded person who takes responsibility for your work tasks. You can work independently within your area, but prefer to collaborate with others. You strengthen the team by sharing your knowledge with less experienced colleagues and contribute to an unpretentious work environment. Additionally, you are innovative and appreciate a development-oriented approach.
