We are now seeking a coordinator for the research subject Process Metallurgy, where we conduct research on how metals can be extracted and recycled in a more sustainable way – from raw materials to finished metal and how residual products can be recycled. We work closely with industry and use advanced equipment and analyses to develop tomorrow's processes. We are now seeking a coordinator who wants to support this important research in an international and collaboration-driven environment. Today, Process Metallurgy consists of more than 30 researchers and doctoral students who need you to continue developing our activities. As a coordinator in Process Metallurgy, you will primarily assist the subject representative with coordinating operations and participate in, plan, and follow up subject activities. Your work tasks will include coordinating meetings, visits, and other events. The role is broad and independent, and requires good judgment, high integrity, a strong ability to prioritize and manage tasks in a complex environment, with team support. You will also work practically with coordinating, implementing, and following up activities within various research projects, as well as helping with student recruitment and educational administration activities as needed. Your work tasks will include project coordination to support the subject representative and project managers, as well as planning, coordinating, and organizing meetings, visits, and other events in research projects. Qualifications We are seeking someone who is calm, attentive, and accommodating in your approach and who has the interest, willingness, and ability to help others and contribute to delivering solutions and solving problems in a structured way. It is of great importance that you have good analytical skills and can solve problems that arise independently and together with others. You work well with other people and take responsibility for your tasks. You are structured and take initiative in your work, and you have the ability to plan, organize, and prioritize your work effectively as well as to set and meet deadlines. You are a person who sees opportunity in change and who easily adapts to changing circumstances. You enjoy having fun at work, contribute to a positive work environment, and have good collaboration skills. The position requires: at least three years of upper secondary school, preferably with some additional education several years of experience in coordinating work, independently and in teams good computer skills in the Office package and Teams documented experience in administration and coordination, preferably in larger or complex operations experience working at government agencies or educational institutions and knowledge of their regulations very good skills in communicating both orally and in writing in Swedish and English We will place great emphasis on personal suitability. It is meriting if you have experience working at a government agency or educational institution and knowledge of their regulations.
