Welcome to 9900 – District Veterinarians Emergency Line. Our approximately 30 employees are spread throughout the country and work together using digital tools. We are part of District Veterinarians' emergency organization and provide service, security, and accessibility regardless of who calls.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
We are now recruiting three employees to strengthen our team at emergency line 9900. Two positions are full-time with work during unsociable hours – primarily evenings and nights, weekdays and weekends. We are also looking for one part-time employee for a weekend position at 50%. You work from home and contact with colleagues occurs digitally. Your responsibilities include answering incoming calls during emergency hours, coordinating cases to the rest of the emergency organization, and supporting veterinarians on call. 9900 also handles customs matters during unsociable hours. Some administrative duties may occur.
9900 is staffed during all unsociable hours, every day of the year, including weekends and major holidays. We work in teams but also independently with ongoing contact with both animal owners and field staff.
As an employee at 9900, you are self-motivated and take responsibility for your tasks while also being a good team player and valuing collaboration. You are also skilled at making sound judgments and prioritizations and have no problem making decisions based on these even in difficult situations or under time pressure.
You should enjoy being part of an event-driven operation and be able to adapt to what the situation requires. As a person, you find it easy to understand others' perspectives without taking on their emotions.
QUALIFICATIONS
High school diploma or equivalent knowledge
Training as an animal care assistant level 2-3 or licensed veterinary technician, or alternatively experience from veterinary care that the employer deems equivalent.
Very good computer skills and the ability to use various computer systems.
Very good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written.
Good knowledge of English, both spoken and written.
Work experience or experience from volunteer work in dealing with people in crisis
Work experience with simultaneous and empathetic abilities such as ambulance services, communication center, customer service, or similar work that the employer deems equivalent
Experience with District Veterinarians' IT systems (Link, Abax, Unit4, Connect)
Previous employment with District Veterinarians or current employment with District Veterinarians is a merit.
Salary form: Monthly salary.
Type of employment: Permanent position.
Duration: Permanent, start date: Start date by agreement.
Working hours: Shift work.
