VGR Academy is a regional shared operation for competence development, pedagogy, and learning that works on assignment from regional leadership and politics. We support all departments and companies in the region and have 45 employees distributed across several units. Our mission is to create conditions for equal, accessible, and quality-assured competence development and to contribute to sustainable learning throughout the organization. The Strategic Competence Development and Learning unit has a central role in this work. We coordinate and drive region-wide initiatives, serve as knowledge support within competence development and learning, and develop and manage the region's digital learning environment, where the Totara Learn platform forms the hub. About the assignment We are looking for you who, together with education managers, education coordinators, and other colleagues, want to contribute to planning, implementation, administration, evaluation, and development of our training programs and other decided competence development initiatives. The role has a particular focus on training administration and coordination, while you actively contribute to the development of our digital learning environments and training administrative processes. The role includes, among other things: - Responsibility for ongoing training administration such as registrations, participant management, and follow-up. - Coordinating training activities including room bookings and communication with instructors and participants. - Managing invoicing, financial flows, and basic financial follow-up. - Working with quality follow-up, statistics, and reporting of training programs. - Providing support and assistance to users and instructors in the Learning Portal within the expert area of training administration, and developing and updating written user support in this area. - Capturing the needs of operations and users and contributing to the development of functionality and processes that support training administration. - Participating in the development and coordination of administrative procedures to create efficient, sustainable, and user-friendly training processes. You work in close collaboration with training providers, instructors, participants, and operations to ensure high quality and good service throughout the entire training process. Your competence We are looking for you who have relevant post-secondary education and experience working in administration, training coordination, service, or other activities that the employer deems equivalent. You have high administrative competence and enjoy combining structure and accuracy with a service-oriented approach. You work independently, take responsibility for your tasks, and have the ability to see the whole picture while handling many details in parallel. We also see that you: - Have good digital competence and experience working in various operational and training administrative systems and digital learning environments. - Have good ability to communicate and collaborate with different target groups. - Express yourself well in speech and writing in Swedish. - Are goal-oriented and have good ability to plan, implement, and follow up on tasks. - Are solution-oriented, development-focused, and see opportunities for improvement in work methods and processes. It is an advantage if you have experience working in public operations and with learning platforms (LMS), preferably Totara Learn, and other operational systems such as registration systems, Raindance, and Episerver or equivalent systems. Experience with financial management, developing and managing user support, providing support, and contributing to the development of administrative processes is advantageous. Other information VGR Academy operates at VGR Campus Nya Varvet in Västra Frölunda, where the position is also placed, with the possibility to work partially remotely. The work also includes travel within the Västra Götaland Region.
