About the Swedish Prison and Probation Service The Swedish Prison and Probation Service is expanding – we are building new facilities, renovating, and expanding existing ones, and we are now seeking additional staff members. Our primary goal is to reduce recidivism – to break the cycle of crime. When we succeed, society becomes safer and more secure for everyone. We are the authority responsible for prisons, probation services, remand facilities, and prisoner transport. The Swedish Prison and Probation Service Center (KSC) is part of the headquarters and belongs to the division for prisons, remand facilities, and probation services. We support the authority with personnel and financial administration services, support functions, travel bookings, administrative development, as well as the authority's switchboard function and office services. KSC serves as an entry point with the goal of resolving all incoming inquiries in a friendly and professional manner. The position is located within the customer center section and involves joining the team responsible for office services and reception at headquarters. You will primarily work within office services and warehouse operations. Job Description As a member of the office services team at the Swedish Prison and Probation Service headquarters, you will have varied work performed both independently and as part of a team. The work primarily involves being responsible for and practically carrying out ongoing services in the headquarters' four buildings. In mail handling, you receive, sort, and open mail as well as distribute mail to various departments at headquarters. You also receive and send packages and pallets and manage inventory of materials. The work includes responsibility for ongoing maintenance of facilities and property management as well as moving and installing furniture during office reorganizations. The office services team also handles procurement and distribution of office supplies. In the case management system, you handle incoming service requests, fault reports, and orders for internal materials. We are looking for someone who has: Complete upper secondary school competence in the form of final grades or a secondary school diploma Experience working with office services Experience working in warehouse operations and warehouse systems (WMS – Warehouse Management System) Category B driver's license Good computer skills Ability to express yourself very well in spoken and written Swedish It is also an advantage to have: Training in service and customer service Experience with security work using X-ray equipment Experience with mail, package, and pallet transport Experience operating a forklift Forklift certification Ability to express yourself well in spoken and written English Other Information The Swedish Prison and Probation Service has chosen to eliminate the personal letter and replaced it with selection questions that are relevant to the position.
