We are looking for you who are 18 years or older and have time and commitment for assignments as a contact person or contact family. The people waiting to get a contact person or contact family in Vindelns Municipality are of varying ages and with different circumstances. In the matching process, we take into account the individual's preferences regarding, among other things, age and interests of their future contractor. Due to this, we need people of all ages, with different experiences and interests - to create the most successful matches possible. As a contractor, you have a duty of confidentiality. Contact Person As a contact person, you are expected to be a human being who promotes social contacts and counteracts loneliness. The assignment can, for example, involve giving people with disabilities or social difficulties increased opportunities to have contact with others and participate in community life. Contact Family As a contact family, you regularly receive a child in your home. How often and how long the child stays with you depends on the child's needs, but it can be a few days per month. The assignment is about supporting the child based on its individual needs, for example giving the child an expanded network or routines. This can include supporting the child with, for example, homework help and recreational activities. It is important that you listen to the child's views and wishes. You also need to have contact with social services and with the child's parents. ABOUT YOU Before you submit your application, you should have considered whether you have a safe and stable life and work situation. It is important that you have an orderly existence and the space needed to support someone else over a longer period, at least one year. As a contractor, it is important to have good social skills, to be able to take initiative for various activities and at the same time be responsive to needs and wishes. OTHER INFORMATION In the recruitment process, a suitability assessment is conducted through checks of suspicion and criminal records as well as in the social register. The overall assessment also includes an interview and reference checks. Please note that assignments as a contractor are not considered regular employment; it is considered a voluntary assignment where you receive compensation in the form of a fee.
