About the Company About the School Vocational university education is a post-secondary educational form that combines theory and practice to meet labor market needs. The programs are developed in collaboration with industries and provide students with specialized competence for specific professional roles. With a strong connection to the business sector, vocational university ensures that students are ready for working life immediately after graduation. Your Tasks For the fall semester, we are seeking an educator for courses included in the program for future relining technicians. The assignment includes preparatory work (preparation of course materials, assignments and exams), teaching and follow-up work (grading and assessment). It is 12 hours of teaching per week. Ideally, you can teach all courses, but it may also be relevant for you if you want to teach individual courses. We are seeking educators for the following courses and during the following periods: • Methods for Relining - Week 42-47 - 2026 • Basic Inspection Techniques - Week 3-4 - 2027 • Relining Techniques - Week 48-2 - 2027 • Coil and Cleaning Techniques - Week 5-6 - 2027 Teaching takes place remotely, however occasional in-person meetings may occur during the course at one of the training locations in Boden, Umeå or Gävle. Your Profile Your Profile To be relevant, you need to have a clear connection to the professional role that the program is aimed at and have good pedagogical ability. For example, you could have good experience from the professional role as a relining technician or have other equivalent practical experience from the industry in combination with good pedagogical ability. We welcome applicants with different backgrounds and experience. To succeed with this assignment, you need to possess good social and communication skills. It is a great advantage if you have previously taught in adult education or have other pedagogical experience, but it is not a requirement. When taking on an educational assignment through us at vocational university, you are employed as a consultant through us and leased to the school.
