About the Company About the School Vocational college education is a post-secondary education form that combines theory and practice to meet labor market needs. The programs are developed in collaboration with industries and provide students with specialized knowledge for specific professional roles. With a strong connection to business and industry, vocational college ensures that students are ready for working life immediately after graduation. Your Tasks For the autumn term, we are seeking an educator for courses included in the training program for aspiring relining technicians. The assignment includes preparatory work (preparation of course materials, assignments and exams), teaching and follow-up work (grading and assessment). This is 12 hours of teaching per week. Preferably you have the opportunity to teach all courses, but it may also be relevant for you if you want to teach individual courses. The following courses are seeking educators and during the following periods: • Relining Methods - Week 42-47 - 2026 • Fundamental Inspection Techniques - Week 3-4 - 2027 • Relining Techniques - Week 48-2 - 2027 • Spooling and Cleaning Techniques - Week 5-6 - 2027 Teaching takes place remotely, however physical meetings may occur at occasional times during the course at one of the training locations Umeå, Boden or Gävle. Your Profile Your Profile To be eligible, you need to have a clear connection to the professional role that the training is aimed at and possess good pedagogical skills. For example, you may have good experience from the professional role of relining technician or have other equivalent practical experience from the industry combined with good pedagogical skills. We welcome applicants with different backgrounds and experience. To succeed with the assignment, you need to have good social and communication skills. It is a great advantage if you have previously taught in adult education or have other pedagogical experience, but this is not a requirement. In a training assignment with us at vocational college, you are employed as a consultant through us and hired out to the school.
