Valmiera Municipality (hereinafter – Municipality) invites applications for a Business Development Support Specialist position in the Capital Management and Business Support Department on an indefinite basis. If you have the desire to: • promote the business development of artisans and home producers in the Municipality and inform them about news in Valmiera region; • organize and inform artisans and home producers about courses, trainings, creative workshops, as well as experience exchange trips; • organize artisan and home producer markets in the Municipality's territory; • cooperate with media, thereby building the recognition of Valmiera region in Latvia and the international market; • organize, develop and maintain Valmiera region's local product groups with the trademark – "Made in Valmiera region"; and if you have: • secondary professional or academic higher education; • at least two years of work experience in a similar position; • knowledge and understanding of regulatory acts related to the work field and the business sector; • state language proficiency in accordance with the State Language Law requirements; • competencies: very good organizational and interpersonal skills, analytical and logical thinking; high precision; ability to work with large data volumes; high sense of responsibility; ability to make independent decisions; ability to argue your viewpoint; argumentation and public speaking skills; presentation skills; ability to work in a team; self-initiative and ability to seek and propose new solutions; • excellent skills in working with office equipment and MS Office software; we offer: • dynamic, interesting and responsible work and opportunities for implementing ideas in a development-oriented Municipality; • base salary during probation 1483 EUR before tax payment, after probation period 1605 EUR before tax payment; • opportunity to receive vacation allowance for work-life balance in return for good work performance; • employer co-financed health insurance after the end of the probation period, as well as other social guarantees/benefits in accordance with work results and regulatory provisions; • professional development and growth opportunities in a team of knowledgeable and responsive colleagues.
