We are now seeking a manufacturing consultant for our client's operations in Göteborg. The company operates within the automotive industry and focuses on development and prototypes for heavy vehicles. Here you will have the opportunity to work in an innovative environment where you are involved in developing and manufacturing components for future vehicle solutions! About the Role As a consultant with a focus on manufacturing, you will work in a dedicated team of approximately 20 employees. The role involves work with various manufacturing processes related to prototypes and small series production. You will handle advanced equipment and work with methods such as water jet cutting, sheet metal processing, machine bending, and related work tasks. You will work closely with design engineers and other functions and have the opportunity to be involved in the entire process – from idea to finished component. In the team, you help each other and drive the work forward together, with a focus on quality and development. This is a consultant position with working hours during daytime, with the possibility of flexible hours. Start date is by agreement. Both Swedish and English are used in the workplace, which means you need to feel comfortable with both languages. Travel may occur during certain periods. Responsibilities As a manufacturing consultant, you will work broadly with various aspects of production. Your main responsibilities include: Water jet cutting and material processing Sheet metal processing and machine bending (press brake) Welding work and other manufacturing methods Operation and adjustment of manufacturing machinery Drawing interpretation and component production Quality assurance and inspection of manufactured parts Active participation in improvement work and process development About You We are looking for someone with experience in manufacturing and a strong technical interest. You are a quick learner, meticulous, and enjoy practical work where you get to work with different processes and machines. You are a solution-oriented person who takes personal responsibility and contributes to team development. At the same time, you enjoy collaborating with others and have a good understanding of manufacturing processes. We place great emphasis on personal suitability. Important for the position: Experience in manufacturing within industry or workshop Knowledge of water jet cutting, sheet metal processing, and machine bending Experience working with machines such as water jet cutters, press brakes, and welding equipment Ability to read and understand technical drawings Very good skills in Swedish and English, both spoken and written Meritorious for the position: Experience from the automotive industry Knowledge of prototype manufacturing Experience with various welding methods Experience with CAD documentation About the Application Recruitment is ongoing and the position may be filled before the final application deadline.
