Your Responsibilities As a Design Engineer, you will be part of an R&D group consisting of approximately 12 experienced and highly competent engineers who together are responsible for developing and improving gas turbines. This is a role for someone who thrives with technical challenges, problem-solving, and collaboration across different functions. You will have the opportunity to work in a technically advanced environment alongside experienced engineers and be part of developing the gas turbines of the future. The role offers a combination of design, problem-solving, product improvements, and close collaboration with various parts of the organization. In this role, you will work on: • Design and development of gas turbine engines • Improvement and further development of existing products • Design and development of compressor components • Management and tracking of quality deviations from production and procurement, including NCR (Non-Conformance Reports) • Support to other functions, such as Procurement and Manufacturing, both internally and externally • Daily work with tools such as Siemens NX, Teamcenter, and SAP Your Profile We are looking for someone who: • Has a bachelor's or master's degree in mechanical engineering, mechanics, or equivalent knowledge and experience • Is driven and has a solution-oriented and analytical approach • Enjoys working in teams and actively contributes to making collaboration more efficient • Has experience with 3D CAD modeling • Experience as a Design Engineer/Mechanical Design Engineer is highly valued • Has good knowledge of both Swedish and English, spoken and written Application Process This position is initially a consulting assignment with us at Skill.
