Your Responsibilities
As a designer, you will be an important colleague in our design team at the engineering department. We work with individual houses, group houses, and project houses where your main responsibility is to create manufacturing drawings for our factory, which produces panel elements, as well as assembly drawings for the building site. The work also includes preparing technical documentation for municipalities in preparation for technical consultations. As a designer, you will be in contact with our architects, site managers, and production managers at our factory. You will also participate in various internal meetings and contribute to developing new working methods, technical solutions, and new products.
You report to our architect and design manager.
Your Background/Your Qualities
We are looking for someone with a higher education, university degree, or vocational college degree with a building technology focus. You have several years of experience with design work in construction or work with residential development and housing production, preferably within prefabrication of single-family homes.
You have good knowledge of building codes for residential buildings. It is a merit if you also have knowledge within structural design, building physics, and energy calculations. To enable you to get into the work relatively quickly, you need to have good experience with Revit, and if you have also worked in other CAD programs, that is a merit. You are fluent in Swedish and English, both spoken and written.
We place great importance on your personal qualities! To fit the role, you need to be business-minded, service-oriented, organized, solution-focused, and responsible. Furthermore, you have experience driving your projects forward and are good at streamlining and optimizing your working methods.
