In this role, you will be responsible for design and quality assurance of our balcony projects - from drawings to finished delivery. About the Role
As a constructor, you will develop technical solutions, drawings, and manufacturing documentation for our balcony projects. You will ensure that solutions are adapted for production, assembly, and applicable requirements.
Your work tasks include, among others:
- Design and creation of drawings, models, and manufacturing documentation in AutoCAD
- Project design based on customer requirements and applicable standards
- Material procurement related to projects
- Review of drawings, documents, and specification requirements
- Technical support in estimation, quotations, and project implementation
- Ensure that designs meet applicable regulations, standards, and quality requirements
- Contribute to technical documentation and development of products and working methods
The position is based at our office in Örnsköldsvik and involves some customer contact and site visits. You will report to the Technical Manager.
About You
We are looking for someone with post-secondary education in building technology or equivalent, and good knowledge of AutoCAD or similar CAD programs. Experience in design within the construction, balcony, steel, aluminum, or facade industry is a merit.
You have a genuine technical interest and a good understanding of building technology. As a person, you are structured, thorough, and enjoy managing multiple projects in parallel. You take responsibility, prioritize well, and collaborate smoothly with colleagues and other functions in the organization. You express yourself well in Swedish and English, both verbally and in writing. Experience in production planning, procurement, the construction industry, or the Monitor business system is a merit. A valid driver's license (category B) is required.
