We are now looking for a Design Engineer for our business area Pressure Equipment & Industrial Piping, with primary focus on boilers. We are looking for someone with experience in design within industry, energy or process operations who wants to contribute to developing technical solutions for boilers, pressurized systems and piping installations in an operation with high expertise and strong team spirit. About the Job As a Design Engineer in our business area Pressure Equipment and Piping, you have an important role in our operations and are responsible for developing technical solutions and design documentation in projects from early stages to final delivery. You work closely with project managers, installation management, production and customers, and contribute technical expertise throughout the entire project implementation. The role includes developing drawings, models, calculations and technical documentation for boilers, pressurized equipment and piping systems. You participate in technical reviews, support in selecting solutions and ensure that designs meet contractual requirements, standards, regulatory requirements and internal procedures. The work includes both new designs, modifications and adaptations of existing installations. You collaborate with both internal and external parties and have a strong focus on quality, safety and functionality. The position also includes participating in quotation work, technical investigations, material selection and review of documentation and supplier documentation. An important part of the role is also to contribute to experience feedback, improvement work and development of our design methods. We are Looking For We are looking for someone with technical education and relevant experience in design work within boilers, pressurized equipment and industrial piping. You have a good understanding of manufacturing methods, material issues and technical regulations such as PED, AFS and other relevant standards for pressurized systems. Experience with CAD design and technical documentation is a requirement for the role. You work in a structured, thorough and solution-oriented manner, with the ability to translate technical requirements into practical and sustainable solutions. You enjoy collaborating with different functions and have communication skills that enable you to contribute both in technical discussions and in dialogue with customers and colleagues. The role requires good IT skills, primarily within Microsoft Office/365 and relevant design tools, as well as very good knowledge of Swedish and English in both speech and writing. Experience with AutoCAD and the business system Pyramid is advantageous. We place great emphasis on your personal qualities and suitability for the role.
