About the role As a building structural engineer, you are a key person in the projects and are responsible for developing well-thought-out and safe structural solutions from idea to final design. You drive the design forward and transform ideas into detailed models, drawings, and technical documentation – both for production and customers. You work in a dynamic project environment together with project managers, production, assembly, and customers. Your work is crucial for ensuring quality, safety, and cost-effectiveness in our deliveries. You become part of a competent team with strong expertise in BIM and building construction. Your main areas of responsibility Model frames and prefabricated concrete elements Dimension connections, reinforcement, and embedded goods Prepare drawings, 3D models, and technical documentation Ensure that solutions meet requirements for quality, safety, and cost Actively participate in design and technical development You work with modern tools such as Tekla, Trimble Connect, and other digital platforms. Your profile We are looking for someone who is technically skilled, meticulous, and solution-oriented. You thrive in collaboration with others and contribute with both structure and drive in projects. You have an interest in development and want to be part of creating efficient and sustainable solutions. At the same time, you are communicative and have an easy time collaborating with different functions. Requirements Civil engineering degree or higher education degree in building technology – or equivalent experience Experience with structural design work Good knowledge of 3D modeling Experience with digital tools and the Office suite You communicate fluently in Swedish and handle English well What you get from us You become part of Strängbetong's office in Örnsköldsvik with approximately 20 engaged employees, several of whom work in structural design.
