Artist Woman Seeks Personal Assistant The Secret Agency is in need of reinforcement – new recruits sought for highly personal assignments. I am the agency's operational chief: a 45-year-old visual artist living in central Gävle. Since my muscles are of the more slender variety, I get around with a permobil and therefore need to borrow your arms and hands to make everyday life function. Concreted, this means: • You make daily life at home smooth – from morning routines to cooking, from showering to handling household tasks and ensuring everything practical flows. • You are my extended arm – whether I'm at the summer cottage, on a train journey, in a pool, or need to scrape the car window, as well as when I'm working in the collective house kitchen and planning meals. • You think one step ahead – you notice when you need to act without me always having to ask, you stay in the background when I'm socializing with others or just want to be alone. Who am I looking for? The most important thing is not experience or formal qualifications – the most important thing is what you're like as a person since you'll be so close to me. I'm looking for you if you: • Are independent but not stubborn – you take initiative and push forward, but ask when you're unsure. You understand the difference. • Have a good sense of humor and self-distance – most things go easier that way. • Are in good physical shape – manual lifting and tasks occur. • Are a woman (due to the nature of certain work tasks) • Handle changes – some days are calm, others more intense. • Are discreet and professional – you do more than you show. Meritorious but not necessary: • Experience in assistant work or other service work • Class B driver's license (makes certain situations easier but not a requirement) Working hours and schedule: All new assistants start as hourly substitutes. For the right person, there may be an opportunity for a schedule of 50–70%. Also need substitutes/backup for time off and sick leave. Typical working hours: • Mainly 24-hour shifts morning-to-morning including 5.25 hours on-call at night; some shifts can be split 9/10–18, 18–9/10 but you need to be able to work night shifts. • Flexibility in hours is a must – but compensation is often possible. • Opportunity to combine with studies or other commitments.
