Pastry Chef / Baker at S:t Markus Wine Cellar / Gränden Nöjeskvarteret Malmborgen AB in central Malmö is committed to providing a complete entertainment experience for our guests through our various offerings. We feature everything from pubs, restaurants, nightclubs, wine cellars, event spaces, street food, and our beautiful outdoor terrace Gränden during the summer. We continuously strive to give our guests that extra something in terms of ambiance, service, and gastronomic experience. We are now seeking an ambitious Pastry Chef / Baker for our Restaurant S:t Markus Wine Cellar, which is part of Nöjeskvarteret Malmborgen and primarily serves buffet and classic à la carte dining. The role primarily involves traditional cooking focusing on baked goods and bread. We would appreciate if you have worked as a pastry chef / baker for several years and have experience in food preparation from scratch with a focus on buffet service and especially baking and desserts. We value an innovative approach to cooking. As a person, you are cheerful, ambitious, stress-resilient, and reliable. You are passionate about providing our guests with the absolute best culinary experience by applying your attention to detail and innovative thinking about cooking, with an eye for detail. You have solid knowledge of food handling and hygiene, and we require that you have completed certified training in food handling. Furthermore, you are a team player who enjoys working in a dynamic environment. For our guests' sake, we prefer that you are tobacco and smoke-free. There is an opportunity to also work at one of our other operations within Nöjeskvarteret Malmborgen, such as Gränden during the summer. For the right person, there are excellent development opportunities within our company. Positions are available for both part-time and full-time. In your role, you will report to the Head Chef.
