Company Presentation For our client Siemens Energy, a leading global player in the energy sector, we are now seeking a Component-Responsible Production Technician for an assignment at their site in Finspång. This is initially a consulting assignment of 12 months via Unik Resurs with very good opportunity for extension. We apply continuous selection, which means that the assignment may be filled earlier than the final application deadline. Work Tasks and Responsibilities In this role, you are responsible for AM components within your area and work with both the development of new components and maintaining and improving existing production methods. You will have a central role between design, production, procurement, and other internal functions, and you will follow components from the development phase to stable series production. As a component-responsible production technician, you will, among other things: Participate in the development of new components and in PDP projects. Review design and production documentation in PLM/Teamcenter. Review and approve external production documentation for in-house manufacturing. Develop cost estimates for manufacturing. Create process plans in SAP, including requirements for traceability and marking. Create and maintain production documentation. Order CNC programs and initiate new production methods as needed. Initiate procurement of new tools, fixtures, and component-specific consumables. Monitor process plans in production and handle escalated deviations. Communicate manufacturing issues and drive alternative solutions together with production, procurement, other workshops, and customers. Prepare manufacturing for series production and participate as a resource in IPPQ projects. Work with product cost tracking, lead time reduction, and cost reduction. Manage product and process changes through change management. Provide advisory support in handling NCR and update process plans as needed. Participate in daily management and support production as needed. Activly contribute to continuous improvements and various improvement projects. The role also includes authority to review design and production documentation in PLM, order tools and fixtures, and create documentation in PLM. Your Profile We are seeking someone with a strong technical interest who thrives in a role where you can combine production technology, problem-solving, and collaboration. You are responsible and have the ability to drive your tasks forward while working closely with several different functions. To succeed in the role, we see that you have: At least five years of experience with similar tasks or relevant post-secondary education in the field. Experience with production technology, manufacturing processes, or similar. Good collaboration and communication skills. A structured and responsible work approach. Fluent knowledge of Swedish. Strong ability to communicate in English, both verbally and in writing. Experience with Additive Manufacturing/3D printing, process planning, manufacturing industry, or work with production development is particularly advantageous.
