About Us
Citizen Services is part of the Municipal Management Administration and includes the Customer Center and Internal Services. At the Customer Center, all staff work as generalists handling the most common citizen inquiries. In addition, each team member is part of one of two specialized groups, each with in-depth knowledge in different municipal areas. The unit has approximately 25 employees working closely together in an open office environment with strong peer support.
Your New Role
As a Community Advisor, you'll meet citizens primarily via phone, but also via email, web, and in-person visits. You'll provide clear and accurate answers, guide citizens through municipal services, and ensure a safe and professional experience, handling both brief calls and longer, more complex cases. The pace can be fast at times, making the work varied and stimulating.
Work Group: Social Support and Care
In this group, you'll handle in-depth inquiries within the Social and Employment Administration and Health and Care Administration. For example, concern reports, financial assistance, invoice inquiries, and care applications. The group also receives visits and is responsible for certain administrative tasks, including mail handling for the Social and Employment Administration.
Common Responsibilities
Receive and handle cases via phone, email, web, and in-person visits.
Handle both simple questions regarding the entire municipality and more complex questions within social support and care.
Document and register cases in various systems.
Process mail for the Social and Employment Administration.

Who We're Looking For
Requirements
A social work degree or other relevant post-secondary education that the employer deems equivalent, or documented work experience in social work, public administration, or related activities that the employer considers equivalent.
Advanced computer skills and very strong ability to quickly learn and work in multiple digital systems simultaneously.
Very good ability to express yourself in speech and writing in Swedish and English.
Very good interpersonal skills, strong service orientation, and ability to meet people in different life situations with respect, professionalism, and citizen-centered focus.
Positive, energizing, and solution-oriented. You take initiative and spread good energy.
Meritorious
Customer service experience via phone, where you spoke with citizens/customers most of the day (describe this in your personal letter)
Knowledge of Sámi language, in speech and writing.
