Do you want to drive development within after-school programs and contribute to long-term quality in education?
We are seeking an engaged and driven development pedagogue who wants to strengthen after-school program activities through networks, professional development, systematic quality work based on relevant and current research. The assignment involves creating sustainable structures for development, supporting and mentoring educators in the development of after-school programs, and contributing to competence development through, for example, workshops and professional development initiatives. The assignment is initially time-limited to two years but may be extended based on required decisions being made.
The position is organizationally placed at Timmele School District with a responsible principal as your immediate supervisor. The assignment is cross-municipal and involves collaborating with all after-school programs in the municipality. We welcome your application. WORK TASKS
In this assignment, you work both strategically and operatively with development initiatives within after-school programs. You collaborate with principals, work teams, development leaders, networks, and external actors to develop activities and create conditions for collegial learning. You drive and support systematic quality work (SKA) in after-school programs by, for example, creating annual frameworks and structures for long-term development work. Together with the responsible principal and development leaders, you plan, lead, and develop network meetings for after-school program staff.
QUALIFICATIONS
We are looking for someone who:
• Has pedagogical higher education and experience working in after-school programs.
• Has good knowledge of after-school programs' mandate, policy documents, and systematic quality work.
• Has experience with school development and leading development processes.
• Is experienced in leading networks, processes, or professional development initiatives.
• Has strong analytical skills and can translate results and analyses into concrete development initiatives.
• Is confident in leading pedagogical discussions, workshops, and collegial learning.
• Has very good communication skills in speaking and writing.
• Works independently while also having good collaboration skills and thriving in a role with many contact points.
• Is organized, takes initiative, and has the ability to plan long-term.
• Holds a valid driver's license (Class B).
It is meritorious if you have:
• Experience collaborating between different operations or cross-municipal networks.
• Experience working in adapted schools.
• Experience working with students in need of special support or with disabilities.
• Experience planning and conducting professional development initiatives or mentoring colleagues.

Duration: Permanent; Start date: Start date by agreement.
After the assignment is completed, the position will transition to a permanent position as a teacher with a focus on after-school programs in the municipality.
