As a communications officer, you are responsible for communications at the hospitals in Trelleborg and Landskrona. You work on behalf of the hospital directors and are part of the hospitals' management groups. Organizationally, you belong to the Corporate Communications Unit together with communications officers in the other healthcare administrations and have the communications director for Skåne University Hospital as your manager. Your work location is Trelleborg, but you are expected to regularly be in Landskrona. This position is a study leave temporary assignment.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

You support the organization in change processes and in the implementation of various projects and activities. You are responsible for driving and developing communication as part of leadership, and provide communication support to the hospital's managers at all levels. You work both strategically with planning and follow-up and operatively with the implementation of communication initiatives. These can target both internal organization and external patients and the public. Examples of work areas include being an advisor and sounding board for managers, media relations, leading workshops and training, and producing editorial content. In crises, you are part of the hospital's crisis management and work with local crisis communications.

QUALIFICATIONS
We want you to:
• have higher education in communications or equivalent education deemed relevant by the employer
• have several years of professional experience in qualified communication work
• have experience serving as a communication support and advisor to others
• be an excellent writer with experience describing complex issues in a clear and understandable way, primarily in Swedish
• have a desire and ability to lead training and workshops
• be motivated by an operations-focused role with focus on both strategic and operational communication work
We also value previous experience in media relations and crisis communications, as this is an important area in this position. It is also meritorious to have experience providing communication support in major change initiatives.
To be successful in the role of communications officer at the hospitals in Trelleborg and Landskrona, you are confident in your role as a communicator and comfortable driving your tasks independently. At the same time, you are an engaged and responsive team player with the ability to build relationships, understand others' needs, and inspire confidence in meetings with others. You have the ability to make assessments and prioritizations based on complex information and different perspectives and have a consultative approach. Furthermore, you are solution-focused, driven, and unpretentious. We will place great emphasis on personal suitability.

Hospital Trelleborg provides acute and planned healthcare as well as educational activities in collaboration with Skåne's educational institutions. The hospital is an orthopedic center and also performs ear, nose, and throat surgeries and dental treatments. There are several specialist clinics and care units in areas such as neurology, cardiology, pulmonary medicine, orthopedics, and speech-language pathology. Approximately 600 employees work here. The hospital also has close collaboration with the emergency department, which belongs to the Close Care and Health administration.
Hospital Landskrona provides Skåne residents with both acute and planned healthcare. The hospital has several specialist clinics and care units in areas such as obesity, gynecology, surgery, urology, neurology, and cardiology. Most surgeries performed at the hospital are for benign conditions, such as gallstones and hernias, but cancer surgeries are also performed. Approximately 350 employees work at the hospital. The hospital also has close collaboration with the emergency department, which belongs to the Close Care and Health administration.
