The Staff The Defense Medicine Center (FömedC) staff is organized into J1-J9 divisions where FömedC has chosen to group certain functions with natural connections. The staff has expertise in business development, production management, exercise planning, financial management, personnel management, material management, monitoring, methodological support, etc., operational command, as well as preparedness and national emergency response, which makes the staff's work tasks varied, developmental, and dynamic. The communicator will work on communications together with FömedC's Communications Director. Main Responsibilities As a communicator on the staff, you will be supervised and work closely with the Communications Director. Your main tasks will be to develop and drive the production of content and materials (such as text, images, video) for publication in digital and social channels and platforms both externally and internally. You will thus photograph and film our operations in different contexts and environments. The work also includes supporting events, visits, and other PR activities, which means the work to a large extent involves collaborating with internal and external target groups. In addition, there will be regular administrative tasks. The Swedish Armed Forces is growing and work tasks may develop over time. REQUIREMENTS Postsecondary education in communications Previous experience as a communicator or equivalent work tasks that the employer deems relevant Experience creating content for web and social media Good ability to express yourself verbally and in writing in Swedish and English Driver's license (category B) MERITORIOUS QUALIFICATIONS Current experience from the Swedish Armed Forces or defense-related operations Good ability to produce photos and videos Experience with editing Good ability to manage the Meta platform Personal Qualities You have good communicative and social skills and the ability to work independently. You work in a structured and efficient manner with a solution-focused approach. With your personality, you contribute to stability and security in the group.
