About Us
Women's House in Örebro is a non-profit and politically independent women's crisis center association with over 40 years of experience supporting women and children who have experienced violence. We are driven by commitment, knowledge and compassion and offer both protection, support and work with public opinion formation.
Our operations consist of:
Sheltered housing for abused women and their children
Counseling services for abused women
Knowledge dissemination, training and public opinion formation
We are members of Unizon and work from a gender equality and children's rights perspective.
About the Position
The position combines communication, brand building and external relations with administrative and coordinating tasks. The role is broad and varied and encompasses both communication and membership work, administrative processes, grant management, coordination of shared information channels.
Your Main Responsibilities
Communication and Brand
Plan, create and publish content for social media and website
Work with digital advertising
Prepare information materials, presentation materials and graphic materials
Coordinate newsletters, member communications and other mailings
Contribute to public opinion formation through press releases, opinion articles and campaigns
Work strategically to strengthen Women's House brand and visibility
External Relations and Financing
Support work with corporate partnerships and external relations
Monitor grants, funds and financing opportunities
Coordinate applications, reporting and follow-up
Highlight partners and funders
Coordination, Administration and Operational Support
Coordinate activities, campaigns and events
Participate in trade fairs, conferences and external meetings
Contribute to developing new forms of engagement and knowledge dissemination
Provide administrative support to management and board
Contribute to development of administrative routines and working methods
Coordinate and manage certain shared communication channels and incoming requests
We are Looking for You Who
Are a skilled communicator with good organizational skills. You enjoy creating engagement, building relationships and turning ideas into action. You are equally comfortable producing digital content, writing an opinion article, a newsletter or a campaign as coordinating administrative processes and providing qualified support to the organization's management.
You are self-driven, take responsibility and enjoy working in varied ways in an organization with a strong value base. You share Women's House's values and are genuinely interested in issues relating to men's violence against women and children.
Qualifications
Relevant academic education in communication, marketing or similar field, or documented experience that the employer considers equivalent
Very good ability to express yourself in speech and writing and adapt messages to different target groups
Experience in professional communication or marketing work
Experience planning, producing and publishing content for web, social media, newsletters or other communication channels
Good digital skills and experience working in various digital tools, systems and administrative environments
Ability to drive work from idea to implementation
Merits
Experience from mission-driven sector or voluntary organizations
Experience with grant applications, reporting and financing work
Experience with project management, events or campaign work
Experience with collaboration with public sector, companies or other external actors
Knowledge of men's violence against women and intimate partner violence
B-class driving license

Terms of Employment
75–100% according to agreement
Permanent employment with six months probation
Collective agreement via Fremia
