Description We're seeking a creative communicator who wants to lead the work of implementing AI and technical tools in our organization from an experience and design perspective. The role has a clear art director focus, where you're responsible for developing creative concepts and strengthening our visual expression. You're strong in graphic form and storytelling, and you use generative AI as a natural part of your toolkit. But you don't stop at producing yourself. You build graphic capabilities into our AI models so that more people can create accurately and on-brand, thereby scaling usage across the organization. You also take responsibility for digitalizing our own communications function and, by extension, the central functions of our entire elementary school administration from a communications perspective. This is a role for someone who wants both—you contribute directly in your daily work with your own design and production, and at the same time you lead others in taking the step into AI-supported communication and build sustainable structures for this. Responsibilities In your role, you will: Lead the work of implementing AI and technical tools in the administration's communications, from idea to established working method. Build graphic capabilities into our AI models, for example custom assistants and agents, styles, templates, and prompt libraries, so that more employees can create on-brand materials and usage can be scaled up. Take responsibility for digitalizing our own communications function, from an experience and design perspective, and develop how we work, produce, and meet our target audiences. Create and further develop the administration's visual communications and graphic form, aligned with Gothenburg City's graphic profile. Build and design a wide range of different expressions and interfaces. Educate, inspire, and build capability among colleagues in AI-supported communications and design, and spread good examples across the organization. Ensure responsible use of AI in communications, with oversight of copyright, image rights, and data protection, and find progressive paths forward. Work closely with communicators, development leaders, analysts, and operations, as well as monitor the external environment within AI, design, and communications. Qualifications We're looking for someone with: Higher education in communications, graphic design, media production, or equivalent education or experience that we collectively assess as equivalent. Several years of professional experience in communications and graphic design. Experience leading development or change initiatives, or driving the implementation of new working methods and tools. Concrete and practical professional experience building AI solutions that others can use, such as custom assistants or agents (Copilot agents, GPTs, Gemini Gems), agent skills, structured system prompts, and prompt libraries, as well as connecting them to your own materials. Very strong proficiency with established design and production tools, such as Adobe Creative Cloud. Practical experience building and designing different types of contexts. Very good Swedish in speech and writing. Meritorious: Experience fine-tuning the visual expression in AI-generated materials, for example style references, custom image styles, or similar approaches, so that the result holds together graphically. Experience evaluating and quality assuring AI results so that they are consistent, correct, and legally sound. Experience with UX and simpler web development, no-code or low-code, HTML, and CSS. Experience working within an established graphic profile. Broad experience with AI and digitalization, but with a focus on design and communications. Experience from school or the education sector.
