The Otolaryngology Clinic is a regional clinic consisting of, among other things, two reception units. One reception is located at University Hospital in Linköping and the other reception is located at Vrinnevi Hospital in Norrköping. In Norrköping, we now need to expand our team with an additional nursing assistant. Welcome! Our Offer The Otolaryngology Clinic at University Hospital in Linköping (US), Vrinnevi Hospital (ViN) in Norrköping, and Lasarett in Motala (LiM) provide all healthcare in the region within the otolaryngology specialty. As a university clinic, we have three main tasks: to provide specialized care, teach, and conduct research and development. The clinic treats patients from Östergötland but also provides highly specialized care to patients from the Kalmar and Jönköping regions. Our operations conduct surgery and outpatient care in Linköping and Norrköping, and the clinic as a whole consists of a care ward, outpatient reception units, hearing care receptions, interpretation center, speech therapy, and secretariat. The clinic encompasses just over 230 employees. At the reception, we place great emphasis on having an open climate where we contribute to this by supporting and helping each other. Job Description As a nursing assistant in our operation, your task is to help prepare for and assist at doctor-led receptions. You assist the doctor by preparing rooms for the day's reception and at the end of the day by tidying up the rooms. We place great emphasis on order and organization as well as performing tasks with quality. We see patient groups from newborn and up, in both elective and acute care. We also have a small unit for polyclinic procedures. Work Group We are a small staff group of 16 people. The staff at the reception consists of nursing assistants and registered nurses with long experience in our specialty. About You You have completed upper secondary education with at least 2,250 points, a Care and Support Program or equivalent. For adult education, completed upper secondary education with at least 1,400 points in Care and Support education or equivalent. You have good administrative skills and computer skills. Experience with the Cosmic medical record system is a merit. As a person, you are driven by seeing opportunities for change but you are also stress-resistant and able to adapt to different situations, which requires flexibility. We would like to see that you can plan and prioritize your work efficiently based on the operation's goals. Since we are a work group where you are part of the whole, collaboration is important for the team as well as being able to work independently. You listen and communicate constructively. You are thorough and quality-conscious. To thrive with us, you have an interest in meeting people. You apply your knowledge, skills, and abilities in your interactions with patients or in care situations. Experience with reception work is a merit. Since you are part of a team around the patient, it is important that you can express yourself well in Swedish, both verbally and in writing. We place great emphasis on personal suitability.
