As Municipal Director, you are responsible for leading and developing operations in accordance with the municipality's vision 2035, on behalf of the political leadership. Together with the organization's managers and employees, you create good conditions for development and results, and lead work where openness, transparency, and shared responsibility are in focus. The assignment includes ensuring a group-wide approach where the entire organization, with departments and companies, collaborates to meet residents' needs and contribute to strengthening Ljungby Municipality's attractiveness as a place to live, work, and thrive. As Municipal Director, you are also the head of administration for the Municipal Administration and are responsible for developing its role as clear support and a coordinating function for the entire organization. The Municipal Director is also CEO of Ljungby Holding AB. Qualifications We are seeking you with relevant academic education from a university college or university and experience leading complex organizations within the public sector at a senior management level. You have experience leading other managers and are accustomed to working closely with political leadership, which gives you a good understanding of the interplay between politics and the civil service organization. You have good knowledge of the Municipal Act and other relevant laws and regulations within the public sector and municipal companies. You also have basic knowledge of public finance and good knowledge of the Swedish language. As a leader, you are confident, clear, and stable. You combine a trust-based approach with the ability to create structure and follow up operations against set goals. You have good communication skills and create, through your leadership, alignment, confidence, and engagement in the organization. You are relationship-strong, decisive, and have the ability to handle complex issues with a clear holistic perspective.
