The Limbaži Municipality Self-Governing Agency "LAUTA" invites you to join our team as a tourism and business development specialist who, with your ideas and initiative, will help strengthen the recognition and appeal of Limbaži Municipality.
Your main responsibilities:
Organize entrepreneur seminars, experience exchanges, networking events, and other business development activities;
Collect and analyze data on business and tourism development in the municipality and, based on this data, prepare proposals for future development activities;
Collaborate in collecting statistical data, conduct analysis, and develop an efficient data management system;
Consult entrepreneurs on development opportunities;
Develop and offer Limbaži Municipality tourism packages and programs to Latvian and foreign tourism operators and travel agencies;
Promote the municipality's tourism offerings at trade shows, fairs, and other industry events;
Participate in attracting and communicating with potential investors, collaborating with municipal departments, entrepreneurs, and state institutions;
We expect from you:
Higher education or studies in the final years in tourism, business, economics, marketing, or a related field;
At least 1 year of experience in tourism, business, projects, or marketing;
Understanding of tourism, business development, and investment attraction issues;
Excellent communication, collaboration, and presentation skills;
Ability to independently plan work, analyze information, and implement ideas;
Excellent Latvian and good English language proficiency, both spoken and written;
Good digital skills (MS Office, etc.);
Initiative, creative approach, and high sense of responsibility;
A Category B driver's license will be considered an advantage.
