Key Responsibilities · Prepare authentic Chinese dishes of high quality with precision and consistency. · Demonstrate excellent knife skills when handling vegetables, meat, poultry, and seafood (cutting, chopping, slicing, and portioning). · Efficiently prepare ingredients to ensure smooth kitchen operations. · Maintain high standards of food quality, presentation, and consistency in execution. · Ensure compliance with all food safety, hygiene, and quality regulations at all times. · Assist with menu planning and daily kitchen operations. · Work closely with the kitchen team to deliver a first-class dining experience. Qualifications · Documented experience as a cook with a focus on Chinese cuisine in a professional restaurant setting. · Excellent knife skills and ingredient preparation knowledge. · Strong knowledge of authentic Chinese cooking techniques, ingredients, and culinary traditions. · Ability to work efficiently under time pressure in a busy kitchen environment. · Strong organizational and communication skills. · Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and passion for creating high-quality cuisine.
