Sodexo is seeking an engaged and driven Head Chef for our assignment with Region Östergötland at Motala Hospital. Here you get an important role in creating well-being by preparing nutritious and delicious food from scratch for patients, restaurant guests, and catering customers! About the Position This is not a traditional management role far from the kitchen. Here you are in the middle of operations – you lead the team and set the standard day to day. You become part of a dedicated kitchen team and work actively to reduce food waste, always with sustainability and quality in focus. Your role is crucial in everything from procurement and food preparation to ensuring that every meal reaches our guests with outstanding quality. At our assignment with our client in Motala, we prepare food from scratch for our patients, our restaurant, and catering. You get a dynamic role where you can influence and develop the operation together with a team that strives for continuous improvement. What You Will Be Working With: Preparation of sustainable and delicious food from scratch Overall responsibility for total operations and work environment Develop employee competence Personnel responsibility and business development Maintain good relationships with clients and colleagues and ensure that the client receives agreed-upon quality We Are Looking for You If You: Have many years of broad experience from restaurants with a focus on large-scale catering and preferably public meals Are a leader with the ability to develop both yourself and others Are goal-oriented, driven, and structured Have good knowledge of food safety (HACCP principles) Have experience with administrative systems and dietary data systems What We Offer: Flexible and dynamic work environment Access to ongoing training and development programs Opportunities to grow within the company Strong focus on health and safety Volunteer work on paid time An exciting position with significant responsibility where you can drive and develop Sodexo's meal service operations in Region Östergötland We apply a trial employment of 6 months, preferably starting as soon as possible. Working hours are during daytime, weekdays, 40 hours per week, on-site in Motala.
