Permanent position, full-time 100% Start date by agreement Who are we looking for? We are now seeking a passionate, curious, and enthusiastic head chef who will build, inspire, and lead a team where service mindset and teamwork are at the center. You are an organized and natural leader who is responsible for kitchen operations both operationally and in terms of economics and quality. As head chef, you are responsible for following laws, procedures, and Compass Group's policies, rules, and values. The position includes responsibility for self-checks, inventory, pre- and post-calculations of all dishes, monitoring of set key performance indicators, waste management, and purchasing. You are also responsible for creating sustainable dishes and menus based on trends, seasons, and guest preferences. The restaurant is located within the premises of one of our major customers where we serve approximately 250 breakfasts and lunches. We also serve business lunches in our guest dining room. We have a considerable amount of catering in-house. We serve approximately 70 dinners for the evening shift. Currently, we have 7 people on site—a great team that enjoys having fun at work. You have education in hotel and restaurant management with a culinary focus or equivalent You have at least 5 years of experience as a chef or equivalent You have at least 2 years of experience with personnel and financial responsibility You should have experience working with menu planning systems You have extensive knowledge of gastronomy, nutrition science, kitchen economics, and waste management You have analytical abilities and are results-oriented You have the ability to plan and structure work efficiently You have the ability to lead and delegate work as well as implement decisions into action You are attentive and responsive and have good knowledge of labor law and workplace environment You are creative and solution-oriented You see your value in satisfied guests, are positive, stress-resilient, and have a talent for collaboration and communication You take responsibility through your passion for maintaining a high service and quality level in what you deliver You enjoy fast-paced days, can take own initiative, and are flexible in your professional role You speak and write Swedish fluently You have good computer skills and knowledge of Office365 About Compass Group We are part of Compass Group, a global leader in food, beverage, and support services.
