Here, the Culture and Recreation Administration, together with the Education Administration, creates a place where visitors and students can Learn, Discover, and Meet. In addition to operations for grades F–9 and adapted primary school, there is a full-size sports hall, public library, youth center, cultural school, orchestra hall, and a café. The school's facilities are spacious, modernly furnished, and contain everything required for high-quality education. The school has approximately 750 students in grades F–9, after-school care, and an adapted primary school. During the day, our facilities are used by the school. After school hours, cultural school, associations, private individuals, and other organizations conduct activities in the facilities. The Culture and Recreation Administration and Education Administration staff work closely together in these spaces to create opportunities for broader learning. We cook from scratch, actively work toward increased sustainability, and serve nutritious and delicious meals daily with a strong focus on vegetarian food. We offer high-quality breakfast, lunch, and snacks to our students every day. Now we're looking for a committed kitchen assistant who wants to be part of our wonderful team and contribute to creating a positive food experience for our students. What We're Looking For in You You should have at least 3 years of experience working in large-scale kitchens, and it's desirable if you've previously worked at a school or restaurant. Since we work with children, it's important that you are pedagogical, responsive, and have good service skills. Qualifications We're looking for you if you: Have at least two years of education within a restaurant and food program or other education that the employer deems equivalent Have at least three years of documented work experience from a restaurant, large-scale kitchen, or similar operation Have good knowledge of food hygiene and self-inspection Can communicate well in Swedish, both verbally and in writing Personal Qualities We place great emphasis on personal suitability and are looking for you if you: Have a burning interest in food, service, and sustainability Are positive, responsible, and flexible Enjoy working in a team and contribute to a good working environment Have great enthusiasm for vegetarian cooking and sustainable meals Want to be part of developing the operations together with colleagues and students What We Can Offer You With us, you'll work in a committed and knowledgeable team where food enjoyment, quality, and sustainability are central.
