About the workplace Sorsele Municipality's meal service is responsible for providing meals to childcare, schools and elderly care. The operation is based on a central kitchen where food is prepared, school meals are served and meals are distributed to reception kitchens and home care services. At Blattnicksele reception kitchen, food is received from the central kitchen, finished and served to both school and preschool. Your tasks In the role of kitchen assistant, you work with various tasks in the reception kitchen. Preparation and serving of breakfast, lunch and snacks. Dishwashing, cleaning, daily self-inspection routines and ordering are also part of your responsibilities. Your qualities As a person you are flexible, responsible, attentive and stress-resistant. That you are a good colleague who is easy to cooperate with is a given. You have good service skills and place great emphasis on the customer. With a solid interest in food, you actively participate in continuously developing the municipality's meal service. Competence and qualifications You must have food technology training for large-scale catering, other equivalent training in kitchen and food or work experience that the employer deems equivalent. It is meritorious if you have experience in the service profession and basic knowledge of food hygiene. You master Swedish in both speech and writing. Duration/Working hours 100% permanent position, start date by agreement. 40 hours/week Monday to Friday. Salary According to agreement. The Municipality applies individual salary setting.
