Skolfood in Göteborg is now looking for a kitchen assistant for the school kitchen in Enköping to prepare and deliver school meals to our schools throughout Mälardalen. Your responsibilities will include preparing meals for catering to our schools. The position also involves dishwashing, cleaning, assisting in the kitchen with food preparation, and distributing school meals. On certain days you will need to support the kitchen with deliveries to our schools, which means you must have a valid driver's license (category B). Who are we looking for? You are an energetic, cheerful, friendly & accommodating person who is self-motivated and has strong teamwork skills. As a person, you are unpretentious and willingly take on both large and small tasks. It is essential that you are engaged in your work and have a positive and solution-oriented approach. To succeed in this role, you should have both high stress resilience and strong capacity as there are periods with high workload. It is an asset if you have previous experience working in large-scale kitchens. Responsibilities Preparation and production of school meals Handling in accordance with food safety regulations and applicable self-inspections. As well as other common tasks found in a production kitchen Deliveries may be part of the position Personal Qualities Flexible and self-motivated Active Good service orientation Qualifications At least 2 years of experience working with similar tasks Experience/knowledge of food handling Speaking and writing Swedish fluently Category B driver's license Terms Start: Immediately Job Title: Kitchen Assistant / Driver Working hours are Monday - Friday Position: 50%, additional hours may be offered during illness or high workload periods.
