The Meal Services operation serves good, safe, well-prepared, nutritious, and sustainable food that is pleasant and integrated. Meals are planned with a holistic view of environment and service. The Meal Services operation prepares food for preschools, schools, and elderly care facilities. 1 position(s). JOB RESPONSIBILITIES As Kitchen Manager, you participate in daily kitchen work and are responsible for planning, purchasing, and production of meals. You lead and allocate work, foster well-being and cooperation in the workplace by providing support to employees. During absences, you communicate staffing needs and participate in reallocating personnel to other kitchens. You have close customer contact and work in a service-oriented manner for a positive meal experience. You are the contact person for, for example, principals, educators, and guests, and participate in meal committees or other meetings where meals are discussed. You participate in working towards achieving common goals, developing operations and staff, and are responsible for ensuring that policies, guidelines, and operational philosophy are followed. QUALIFICATIONS Formal competence: • You have secondary education in restaurant and food service, catering or equivalent other education. • You have good ability to express yourself in speech and writing in Swedish. • You have at least 3 years of experience working in restaurants and/or large-scale kitchens or equivalent. • It is an advantage if you have experience in leadership or supervisory roles. Personal competencies: • You are structured by organizing and planning your work well, working according to a clear process where you complete what you start. You set timeframes and meet deadlines. • You are confident in yourself, stand up for your opinions, and have the courage to speak up when needed. You have the ability to distinguish between the matter and the person and can feel secure even in uncertain situations. • You are creative and think in new ways. You find new solutions to both old and new problems. You often come up with ideas and new approaches to work-related issues and have innovative thinking that can be implemented in practice and leads to results. Salary form: Monthly salary. Employment type: Permanent employment. Duration: Permanent, start date: Earliest start 2026-10-01 or by agreement.
