The Food Service Unit is located within the Service Office in Sandviken Municipality. The Service Office is responsible for internal service to the municipality's various operations in the form of food service, cleaning service, distribution center, and the municipality's car pool. The Service Office has a total of 130 employees and is organizationally placed under the Municipal Executive Office. Food operations in Sandviken include preparation, transport, and serving of meals in preschools, primary schools, and high schools, as well as care and residential facilities and meal distribution to ordinary housing. We prepare approximately 8,000 portions per day, and operations are divided into production units, preparation kitchens, and receiving kitchens. 1 position(s). JOB DUTIES In your role as a chef, you ensure a good level of service and that the food is of high quality. Sustainability is close to your heart, and you have an environmentally and climate-adapted work approach. You work to ensure that available resources are used efficiently, both in terms of food and economy. As a chef, your primary placement will be in the Tuna Kitchen. The tasks include planning, food preparation, work in food management systems, customer contact, and engaged development work. The work climate in the Tuna Kitchen is characterized by ambitious employees with high levels of knowledge and good cooperation. The position includes weekend duty every fourth weekend. QUALIFICATIONS • Trained chef with experience working with public meals • Experience working in larger kitchens • Good knowledge of HACCP • We want you to have good ability to express yourself in Swedish, both orally and in writing • Good computer skills, knowledge of Excel, Mashie, and Teams are advantageous We highly value personal qualities such as good conduct, good teamwork ability, loyalty to decisions made, high integrity, self-confidence, and the courage to show commitment and honesty.
