Chef – Wineót Wine Bar Wineót is the living room for Jönköping's wine lovers! We are a relaxed and vibrant wine bar in the heart of Torpa. Here, a passion for wine & gastronomy is at the core of everything we do. We are a small, family-like team and are now looking for a chef who wants to help develop the business together with us. We are looking for you who: – can work evenings, weekends, and daytime shifts – are confident, organized, and self-motivated – see what needs to be done, take initiative, and don't wait for instructions – maintain high quality even when the pace is fast – are solution-oriented and take responsibility for the whole while paying attention to details – are unpretentious and enjoy working in a small team where everyone helps each other – love pace but hate chaos We believe that you: – have experience working in a restaurant kitchen and are comfortable with both prep and service – value quality, good planning, and have a genuine passion for cooking & gastronomy – have a good understanding of ingredient handling, waste reduction, and portion control Responsibilities: – Independently plan & execute prep, mise en place & service – take overall responsibility for quality, order, structure, hygiene & food safety – responsibility for kitchen opening and closing procedures – opportunity to participate in menu and dish development This role suits you if you thrive with significant personal responsibility. After an introduction period, the goal is that you can independently plan and execute prep and run the kitchen during service. Even if you lack formal education but have experience and a genuine interest in kitchen work, you are welcome to apply. We place great importance on personal fit. Swedish and/or English is required. It is a merit if you speak both languages as well as additional languages.
