About the Job Chef – Cook food that makes a difference Do you want to cook food that means more than just a good meal? As a chef with us, you prepare delicious, well-prepared and nutritious food in large volumes. You work together with chefs and kitchen managers and get to be involved in developing both the food and the operations. Your main responsibilities: Prepare delicious, well-prepared and nutritious food in large volumes Work with both planned menus and special diets Contribute to menu development, work methods and operations Ensure that routines, guidelines and goals are followed, work with food hygiene and internal controls, collaborate with colleagues, clients and suppliers Handle orders and meal planning in our IT systems Clean and keep the kitchen organized and efficient. During the day, you also help out at Bistro Skeppet, our lunch restaurant with full operating license, where you get to meet our guests, portion food, serve and take care of our diners and see the results of your work directly. About You Requirements: We are looking for you who are a trained chef. You have documented experience from restaurants and large kitchens – more than 5 years of experience is required. Work experience cooking food in large volumes. The assignment also includes several administrative tasks, so it is important that you have basic IT skills and can handle email, purchasing and ordering programs, and meal planning systems. You also need to master the Swedish language in speech and writing, as reading and following recipes, routines and instructions, as well as communicating with colleagues, clients and diners, is an important part of the assignment. Merit factors: You have experience working with senior meals, special diets, food hygiene and sustainable meals. You are flexible and see opportunities in changes.
