About Us Help spread the joy of food in elderly care! We need more staff for our staffing pool and are looking for you to work as a temporary cook. With us, you prepare home-style cooking, bake, and create desserts from scratch using high quality and real ingredients. Your tasks include preparing and serving delicious and nutritious meals to our clients. In our kitchens, you cook from scratch, work with seasonally adapted menus, and actively work to reduce food waste. Your responsibilities also include dishwashing, cleaning, and quality control. Since operations run every day of the year, you will work on different scheduled shifts within the hours 06:00–17:30 and some weekends. Together we work so that elderly people feel secure, trusted, and can live as good a life as possible, with independence every day, for life. We have workplaces throughout Gothenburg so you have every opportunity to work where it suits you. It should be fun to go to work and we are looking for someone who can bring joy and has the desire to learn! You cannot have more than one active employment with Gothenburg City at a time. Please note that temporary work with us requires that you do not have another employment exceeding 50%. You choose yourself which days you want to be available for work by entering it in our booking system Time Care Pool. You will then be booked for work shifts based on the needs of the activities. We also have some requirements - You must be 18 years old before October 15, 2026, in accordance with the Swedish Work Environment Authority's regulations on working conditions for minors (AFS 2023:2, ch. 8) - Good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written, as the work involves passing information to colleagues - Good digital skills as you need to handle various IT systems - Education or ongoing education as a cook Meritorious but not required - Work experience from commercial kitchens or restaurants - Work experience from food handling, hygiene, and senior meals Are you looking for flexible, relationship-building, and responsible work?
