As a cook at T4 Montessori School, you'll contribute, together with your team, to preparing the school's meals. The team consists of a head cook, two cooks, and two additional meal service staff. The work includes preparing, serving, and setting up breakfast, lunch, and snacks, as well as all tasks and routines included in our quality assurance. You have a sustainable approach and use the operation's resources in a wise and efficient way. Through various working groups and forums, you'll also have the opportunity to influence and develop your work.
The position is a permanent employment at 100% employment level, placed at T4 Montessori School. In our area, we like to collaborate across kitchen boundaries, which means you may cover shifts in the various preparation and receiving kitchens in the nearby area. The position has a working time of 40 hours.

Who are you
We're looking for someone with culinary training or other education the employer deems relevant, or alternatively equivalent work experience. You need to have good computer skills, as well as basic knowledge of Microsoft 365, for example Teams. You need to be able to communicate fluently in Swedish in speech and writing, and be able to handle physically active work with heavy lifting.
It's advantageous if you've worked in Matilda or another meal planning system, as well as in Unit4 or a similar e-commerce system. We also consider it advantageous if you've worked several years in a large-scale kitchen. For possible transport between kitchens, it's also advantageous if you have a B driver's license and access to your own car.

Technical Administration is responsible for creating safe, functional, and sustainable environments for the municipality's residents, employees, and visitors. We work broadly and coordinatively within several important service areas, including facilities, streets and parks, meals, and cleaning services. Within the Meal Department, approximately 200 employees work to prepare and serve meals.
