We have a politically decided meal policy and we work with a goal-oriented approach. We prepare a lot of food from scratch and aim to increase the proportion of organic food and reduce waste and our climate footprint. We always meet our guests with good service and hospitality. The food service unit currently consists of approximately 30 kitchens with 1-20 employees in each kitchen. We have production kitchens at most preschools and care facilities. There are also 3 larger production kitchens that deliver meals to preschools, schools, and healthcare and care services. In total, we serve approximately 6,000 portions/day. We want to make a positive impact - will you be part of it? 1 position(s). WORK DUTIES As a cook in the personnel pool, you will fill in for sick leave and vacation time. The work duties can vary greatly depending on which kitchen you will be working in. You may work alone, with all that responsibility entails one day, and in a kitchen with several colleagues the next day. You will work in production kitchens, receiving kitchens, or service kitchens with varying work duties. You will perform all common work tasks in kitchens and restaurants, such as cooking (including special diets), preparing salad buffets, serving different meal types, planning and ordering, self-inspection, dishwashing, and cleaning. QUALIFICATIONS We are looking for you who are a trained cook or have other education that the employer deems equivalent. You should have good knowledge of large-scale kitchen production, special diets, relevant legislation, self-inspection, and kitchen economics. The work requires good knowledge of the Swedish language both spoken and written, as well as good computer skills. Experience from the public sector is a merit. You are flexible, have a genuine interest in meals, and enjoy meeting children and elderly in their daily lives. You have the ability to work independently and take responsibility while contributing to good teamwork in your team. You have a good sense of service. We place emphasis on personal suitability. A driver's license is required for the position. Salary form: Monthly salary. Employment type: Fixed-term employment. Duration: 11 days - 3 months, start: Recruitment is ongoing.
