Description Meal Service is part of the Service Administration and has approximately 120 employees in our 43 public kitchens. Together we prepare and serve meals to children in preschool, students in school, and to elderly people in care services. You will work in an operation where we have a good sense of meals, excellent service, and great care regarding meals for our guests in preschool, school, and for our elderly. You will report to the responsible manager. Job Responsibilities As a cook, you are responsible for planning, purchasing, preparing, and serving meals. You have good computer skills as the role includes orders and registrations in meal planning software. The cook position also includes responsibility for internal quality control, internal administration, and other relevant kitchen tasks. The cook function requires flexibility and demands high adaptability as the assignment involves collaboration with colleagues, customers, and guests as needs arise. About the Workplace: Your placement is in a school kitchen with a team that prepares approximately 450–500 portions per day. Qualifications We seek you with experience in food, meals, and service for those we serve! You have great commitment and professionalism for the profession! You are a cook with relevant education in restaurant and food service training, or experience from working in large-scale kitchens/restaurant kitchens that the employer considers equivalent. You have experience in cooking and food production, as well as good knowledge of HACCP. Experience with the meal planning software Matilda is an asset. You speak and write Swedish fluently.
