Every day. 1 position(s). JOB RESPONSIBILITIES The Meals Organization is seeking an engaged and service-oriented cook for the kitchen at Kungsmadskolan. We are looking for someone who is passionate about cooking, values collaboration, and wants to contribute to providing our guests with a positive meal experience every day. Kungsmadskolan's kitchen is a production kitchen responsible for the production and distribution of meals to multiple facilities. Seven employees work together here to plan, prepare, and deliver meals with a focus on quality, nutrition, and good service. Each day the kitchen produces approximately 2,500 lunch portions. Approximately 1,000 guests eat in the dining room, while the remaining meals are distributed to other schools. The operation is characterized by a structured approach, good collaboration, and a shared focus on creating safe, pleasant, and well-functioning meals for our guests. As a cook with us, you are an important part of the team and participate in the daily work in the kitchen. The work includes, among other things: • Prepare and quality assure meals according to menu and recipes. • Handle and prepare special diets. • Assist with serving and contribute to good customer service. • Participate in dishwashing and cleaning work. • Ensure that hygiene, self-monitoring, and food safety procedures are followed. • Collaborate with colleagues to plan and carry out daily work. • Contribute to the development of operations and a good work environment. QUALIFICATIONS We are primarily looking for you with chef training and secondly for you who have experience working in large-scale kitchens or have other kitchen training. We want you to have a strong interest in providing good service and have a pleasant demeanor toward our customers. You should have good knowledge of the Swedish language in speech and writing as well as computer skills. We place great emphasis on personal suitability and expect you to be a good representative of Växjö Municipality. Employment form: Permanent employment. Duration: Permanent.
