DUTIES We are now looking for a chef for Igelkotten's kitchen in Katrineholm Municipality. At Igelkotten, we prepare nutritious food from scratch with a high proportion of locally sourced ingredients and Swedish meat and poultry. We are looking for someone who wants to be part of our wonderful team, spread joy, and prepare good food for the world's most important guests. In Katrineholm Municipality, we combine the preparation of traditional Swedish home cooking, preparation of special diets, and baking. As a chef with us, you will have the opportunity to develop and see your ideas come to life. At Igelkotten, we prepare lunch and dinner for the elderly in special housing, we produce meals for the municipality's meal distribution service, and lunch dishes for our open restaurant. Your role as a chef with us will involve planning and managing cooking for all parts of our operations and working with various special diets. You work at a fast pace with many things happening at once. The position includes administrative tasks such as working in our meal planning system Matilda, answering phones, and responsibility for digital self-inspection. In the work, you will also mentor trainees and substitute staff, manage inventory, order raw materials, handle cash, wash dishes, and clean. Work is scheduled on weekdays and weekends during daytime hours. QUALIFICATIONS To succeed in your role as a chef in Igelkotten's kitchen, you must have chef training from a restaurant school or equivalent, as assessed by the employer. It is important that you have experience with large-scale kitchen work and customer contact, and you must have previously worked with digital administrative tasks. To succeed in this, you need good communication skills in Swedish, both spoken and written. The work also requires that you are flexible, collaborate with your kitchen colleagues, and can plan and perform your work independently. Salary form: Monthly salary.
