About the Job
As a temporary kitchen and meal service worker, you play an important role in the operation when regular staff are absent. You contribute to ensuring that children and students receive good, nutritious meals in a safe and well-functioning meal environment.
Your work tasks include:
preparing meals from scratch and serving breakfast, lunch, and snacks
preparing nutritious special meals according to children's different allergies
ensuring self-inspection, hygiene, and food handling are conducted according to applicable requirements, dishwashing and cleaning of the kitchen
Contributing to a positive and well-organized work environment
About You
We are looking for someone who is knowledgeable, responsible, and engaged in your work. You are comfortable taking personal responsibility, have good planning skills, and can quickly adapt to new work environments and routines. At the same time, you are collaborative and responsive to the needs of the operation.
To be a candidate for this position, we see that you:
Have education from a restaurant and food program or equivalent cook training
Have at least six months of experience working independently as a cook in a preschool kitchen or school kitchen
Have good knowledge of food safety and HACCP
Have very good knowledge of allergens and experience preparing special meals
Have good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written
