We are seeking a cook for a temporary position until 2027-03-31, full-time with work shifts from 7-16, weekends off, Monday through Friday. Ideal for you who wants to combine work as a cook while also managing your life balance with daytime work.
We operate with self-inspection procedures with clear work instructions, routines and checklists. Our approach to cover for each other in the kitchen ensures that all employees can handle all tasks and work in our other kitchens in the area. As an employee, you will be part of a work team with a kitchen unit manager as your direct supervisor.
Job Responsibilities
As a cook, you will work with meal preparation, salads, line service, inventory management, dishwashing, laundry and cleaning according to a rotating schedule. The tasks also include administrative work such as recipe management and other tasks in our catering data program.
Qualifications
We are looking for someone with cook training and/or previous experience working as a cook. Since we prepare meals for different operations with many special diets and consistencies, it is an advantage if you have knowledge and previous experience with food preparation and special diets in large-scale kitchens or restaurants.
You should be interested in working with food and people, be engaged, responsible, flexible and able to work independently even during busy periods. The position requires good knowledge of Swedish language in speech, writing and comprehension to ensure safe work and communication with coworkers, dining guests, suppliers and others.
Bjästa is located 17 km south of Örnsköldsvik, close to E4 and with good bus connections on weekdays. A driver's license and access to your own car will facilitate your commute to/from the workplace if your work times do not coincide with bus schedules.
