About the Swedish Prison and Probation Service The Swedish Prison and Probation Service is growing – we are building new facilities, renovating, and expanding, and we are now seeking more staff members. Inmates are engaged in education, treatment programs, work operations, and other structured activities (ASV) that focus on creative activities, crafts, gardening, and health. It is a traditional large-scale kitchen that serves both the prison's staff cafeteria and provides meals for inmates. The work includes all typical tasks in a large kitchen such as planning, procurement, and preparation of breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The duties also include cleaning the kitchen facilities, dishwashing, and self-inspection in accordance with applicable regulations. Preparation of special diets and other customized meals also occurs. Collaboration with staff in other departments is a natural part of the work. Qualifications We are looking for someone who is secure, stable, and has good self-awareness. You are calm and composed in stressful situations and work well with other people. You have good judgment and take responsibility for your tasks.
