As a Cook and Store Sales Associate at Coop Stora Coop Halmstad, you are responsible for performing all common tasks in the store and ensuring the best possible customer service. You are an important face of the organization and work according to Coop's guidelines, routines, and values. You are a key person in customer interactions and in the work of creating a pleasant and inspiring store. To succeed in this role, we see that you have good physical fitness since the work can involve heavy lifting, and that you have a strong willingness to learn and develop in your role. It is important that you are a trained cook or equivalent and that you will also work in the manual delicatessen and at our fish counter. Main Responsibilities Prepare meals for ready-made dishes and food to sell in the manual delicatessen Work at the manual counter Restocking and facing products Building attractive displays Handling complaints and grievances according to procedures Quality control, cleaning, and organization in store, warehouse, and staff areas Maintenance and cleaning of machinery and equipment Following waste and shrinkage procedures Contributing to continuous improvements and a good work environment Depending on the store's needs, you may also work with: Product orders Cashier work Returns, receiving inspections, and delivery notes Handling CAO Price labeling and promotional signage Price changes Opening and closing the store according to current procedures. This position is a part-time employment of 30 h/week with start date by agreement. Working hours vary and are scheduled during daytime and evening shifts as well as weekends. We use a trial period. Requirements Good Swedish in speech and writing is a requirement 18 years of age, as you must be able to work independently at the checkout Merits: Experience and competence from retail and/or other service professions are meriting Secondary education. Multilingualism. Basic knowledge of store economics or food handling.
