Chef with Specialist Expertise in Authentic Persian Cuisine Employer: Restaurang Malakeh Workplace: Stockholm About the Position Restaurang Malakeh is seeking an experienced chef with documented specialist expertise in authentic Persian cuisine, with a particular focus on traditional dishes from northern Iran. The position requires deep knowledge of Persian ingredients, spices, flavor profiles, and traditional cooking methods. The restaurant's concept is built on genuine Persian food culture, with special emphasis on regional dishes from Gilan, Mazandaran, and Golestan. Job Responsibilities Prepare authentic Persian dishes according to traditional recipes. Take responsibility for dishes focused on northern Iranian cuisine. Prepare and cook stews, grilled dishes, rice dishes, appetizers, and traditional sauces. Ensure taste, quality, and presentation. Contribute to menu development. Train other kitchen staff in Persian cooking techniques. Work in accordance with Swedish hygiene and food safety regulations. Qualifications We are looking for someone who has: At least 5 years of documented experience as a chef in a Persian restaurant. Documented experience in authentic Persian cooking. Special knowledge of northern Iranian cuisine. Experience with dishes such as Mirza Ghasemi, Baghali Ghatogh, Torshe Tareh, Anarbij, Kebab Torsh, Morgh-e Torsh, Sir Ghalieh, and Fesenjan. Strong knowledge of traditional Persian rice preparation. Experience with Persian grilling techniques. Ability to work independently and at a fast pace. Meritorious Qualifications Knowledge of Persian/Farsi. Experience in menu development. Experience training other kitchen staff. Great emphasis is placed on professional skill, documented experience, and the ability to prepare genuine Persian food according to traditional methods.
